  2. I live in NYC so my favorite thing to do is taking my 6 year-old daughter on mini adventures throught the city to get our culture in and some fresh air and exercise!

  3. My favorite time of the year to get out and about and enjoy the outdoors...so hard to choose just one for there are so many to enjoy...I love biking, hiking, kayaking...anything to be outside and keeping fit....:)

  4. My favourite thing to do in the spring is to pack up the kids and go for long walks outside, whether it be just up to the park, or farther. Its so nice to get out in the fresh air after being cooped up inside all winter. And its even more fun with a 21 month old who is experiencing alot of the scenery for the first time. :)

  5. I love running stairs or hills at one of Calgary's parks! Its not too hot out. I usually take my dogs with me when I run hills. They love it and so do I!

  7. This is so exciting Angelique! Living in New England, my favorite season if the year is Spring! I love to take walks at the beach with my little Boston, and I also love to walk the track where I do my thinking. Exercise strengthens my mind, and when I see positive results, I feel awesome!!

  8. I just recently moved to Edmonton, but I grew up in Vancouver. With it being Spring in BC (it still kind of feels winter-ish in Edmonton) - I'm heartbroken that I won't be able to hike the Grouse Grind or bike along the sea wall at Stanley Park! The best part about Spring is being able to get outside, and enjoy the beauty of the trees, the ocean, and the occasional bursts of sunshine! As much as I love working out in the gym, it's nice to get some fresh air while doing something I love! Edmonton doesn't have the same beauty as BC does, but I've already found some mile high stairs in the park to enjoy when the weather gets nicer!

  9. The best part of Spring for me is the feeling of a fresh, new start to everything. Also being able to get outside and enjoy the sunshine and pretty flowers while running is awesome!

  10. Best part of spring is hiking through the mountains! I love the fresh air and challenge of the hikes! Makes cardio a little bit more bearable ;)

  11. My favorite part about spring living in Kelowna used to be doing my cardio through the mission creek greenway, and knox mountain trail. Now that I live in Texas, it's been spring for a long while and I have taken a liking to running my dog through parks and places where there is some sand to do some exercises in the middle of my cardio. My dog loves to run around the park and I enjoy breaking up some long cardio!

  12. I live on the west coast of Newfoundland, I am surrounded by mountains....spring time means the trails are open! My all time favourite activity in the spring here is hiking the mountain trails! Not only an excellent workout but a beautiful scenery to boot! Bring it! xo

  14. I love to walk on the beach (before all the tourist come LOL). Walking in the sand is a great sculpting workout and watching the waves and enjoying the breeze is so peaceful, it's the one workout I wish everyone could experience. And you can get your tan on!

    Also, walking in botanical gardens after work before it gets dark is also a nice unwind.

    These are things I love to do to mix it up from the day in day out of working out indoors inside a gym.

  16. Running and biking through the beautiful Grant Woods hills in Eastern Iowa. People think Iowa is flat and full of corn fields, but if you allow yourself to open your eyes and your mind, you can see / smell / hear so much more around you - it is truly amazing!

  18. I love the longer, lighter evenings so I can go hiking after work for a couple of hours. Blessed to have some awesome hiking trails right from my front door!

  19. I absolutely love being outside with my son. It doesn't matter what activity we are doing whether its going for a walk running around the yard after him or just playing. Its so great to be out and soak up the sun!!!!
