I know I haven't posted in a long time. The reason for this is because 2017 was pretty much a life changing series of events. I had a lot of amazing ups, and some downs, but if it wasn't for every minute of every day last year, I wouldn't be who I am in the present moment. 2017 a growing year, which has changed me and my whole life forever.
Most of you know that I had a year of travel, which included Nicaragua for 2 months, San Francisco to attend a festival,Vegas, which we decided last minute we needed to get out of Kelowna, and some other small trips around Canada for weddings and family fun like Lake Louise, Banff, Calgary, Vancouver, and others.
We went to Colossal Clusterfest in San Francisco, which by the way, I had no idea that it is always freezing cold there (bring warm clothes!) We watched my main man Ice Cube perform, as well as other amazing celebrities like Kevin Hart and Jerry Seinfeld.

We also GOT MARRIED! Ok I'm sure everyone that follows me on any social media site knows this by now LOL. We had the best wedding, like actually. We had the honor to be the first wedding at Nighthawk Vineyards, which is owned by Dylan's parents, Daniel and Christy Bibby. It was not only a beautiful setting to get married at, but we decided to be non-traditional and get the party started immediately after the ceremony! There was plenty of food and wine, and DJ Invizible really got everyone going until the very end. We all partied hard!
I also had the honor to be published twice online with Adventuress Travel Magazine as a travel writer. My passion for traveling will always stay with me, and I hope to venture more into the travel writing business in the future.
I had the surprise to find out that my wedding picture featuring my custom made wedding dress by designer Genessa Jackson was published in Okanagan Life Magazine! What was really exciting to me was having Daniel and Christy's vineyard featured in the magazine - Nighthawk Vineyards.

2017 was also a year of reconnecting with loved ones, making strong new friendships that will last a life time, as well as strengthening old friendships to another level. I realized who my true friends and family are, which made me see who really is important to me in my life. Makes me feel truly blessed.
Bluvos Smart Energy has been the best project by far. Our exciting new business adventure has led us to new roles and titles within the company. Dylan is now the new CEO of the company, and my new role as Chief Operator fits me well. We have been on a fast-paced track since, and this just the beginning.
Prior to all of this, as a team, we finally decided to get out in the public eye. We launched Bluvos into the bodybuilding world! We had our first trade show as Bluvos Smart Energy Supplement at the Popeye's fall classic November 18, 20187, and ended up sponsoring the athletes as well as handing out our t-shirts to the audience members. We slanged samples to anyone and everyone that walked by our booth, and also made some great connections, which in turn has Bluvos moving very fast.
The best part of the Popeye's Classic? Meeting 5x undisputed Mr. Olympia 212 Flex Lewis. This guy was super fun, and a comedian at heart. It was a pleasure meeting this guy! He forgave me after I aggressively threw Bluvos Smart Energy shirts at his face (LOL)
Fast forward a little bit, to the day that forever changed my whole life. December 5th was the day I found out I was going to be a mom. Me. A MOM. Me, with a baby. I'm not going to lie, I freaked out. I panicked. We already planned our lives out, and this was not part of the plan. I will be a first time mom at the age of 41. Holy shit.
After being so nauseous all of December and part of January, I was pretty lean. As much as I really enjoyed having an 8-pack for the first time in my life, It wasn't be choice. I couldn't even smell food and had a hard time even drinking water. This only made me feel more stress unfortunately.
But I soon came to the realization that this was meant to be. Our new life together has been moving at the speed of light, in business, adventures, marriage and now soon-to-be parents. I never wanted kids, but after finding and fighting hard to be with the person who I definitely believe is my soul mate, this was in the cards. We are going to have a little Porto-Ginger and I'm feeling pretty good about that. Makes me feel excited for our new chapter together.
My life is amazing, and I am lucky.
